First dance recitals are big events that deserve to be made special. These performances show off dance routines that your little one has been practicing all year and she deserves to know how proud you are of her. Here are some suggestions of how to make her little dance recital more special.
Put an ad in your local newspaper. Many newspapers have extra ad space for birthday wishes, engagement or marriage announcements, and other special events for a moderately affordable price. Wish them luck publicly or tell them how proud you are by placing an ad in the paper on their big day.
Bring flowers to give to them after the performance. Flowers are a beautiful and appropriate way to congratulate your daughter. Flower arrangements can come in a variety of types and sizes, so it is up to you whether you would like to give her a single flower or a bouquet of them.
Video tape her performance at the recital. Video taping it yourself, rather than just ordering a DVD of the performance, will allow you the chance to focus on her and her routines and really single her out.
