Biometric Gun Safe Equals Better Security

How many times have you woken from a sound sleep in the middle of the night and not known what woke you? Did a sudden noise wake you? You are not really sure because it is quiet now as you are laying there. But then, all of a sudden, you hear somebody walking around in your living room!

You have to do something! OK, lets call the cops first. Good idea. Next, lets get our gun. That’s right, it is in our gun safe in the closet. We scurry over to the closet as quickly as we can without making any noise. We pull out our gun case and try to remember the combination or try to find the key in the dark so we can open it and get our gun out. Not real easy to do when you are in such a stressful predicament.

Now, doing something has become a whole lot easier. Of course you still call the police first but then all you have to do is reach under your bed, slide your biometric gun safe out, place your finger on the pad and watch the safe open immediately. Reach inside and you have your weapon in your hand before you even got out of bed.

Biometric safes use new technology to help us secure our valuables and our weapons. We see biometrics used every day in the movies or TV. With an eye scanner or retina scan, the biometric system stores the length of connective tissue, rings in the eye and the optical corona. When someone passes through the biometrics, a scanner will “read” the eye and then look for matches against the stored algorithm.

The safe is designed to accept a certain number of different fingerprint patterns that we, as the owner or administrator, authorize. When access to the safe is desired the user places their finger on a scanner pad. The safe reads the details of the fingerprint and compares them to the prints that have been already been authorized. If it detects a match the safe will open in less than a second!

It was not that long ago that the technology of biometrics was only available to certain groups. Today the technology is being used more and more by the entire population.

A biometric gun safe is more secure than the older style gun safes. No matter how well we try to protect our children they often find a way to get into a gun safe. Usually with very unhappy results. That sad news story has been played over and over again. Keeping your gun and ammo in a biometric safe is an excellent way to protect our children.

Keep your family as safe as possible and replace your old gun safe with a new biometric gun safe. You will not have to worry about unauthorized access. The only people that will be permitted to open it are the ones that you designate.

Sure, it is vital that you can grab your gun as quickly as possible in an emergency. The biometric gun safe permits this. Just as important, it prevents the gun from reaching the hands of a child.

You will be glad you did.
